First, I need to admit, I am a very bad blogger. I've had this for months and haven't been able to blog about it until now. Which is good or bad depending on if the items received were supposed to be used before or after you post about them. Trust me. Used. I do know that next year I am not allowed to participate in any food events between the months of September through December. Unless I'm insane and in a straight jacket which is close to where I was this past holiday season.
The lovely J from Have Fork Will Travel sent me the most wonderful box of goodies for Blogging By Mail. J is a self confessed "foodie diva" from the United Kingdom. Go check out her blog here. No go. Seriously. I'll wait. Okay now isn't that a wonderful blog? It's been put on my "hot" list of those food blogs I check regularly (as opposed to the other 200+ food blogs that I check occasionally).
Her package came with the cutest card pictured with cupcakes. And for you scrappbookers out there she has the most amazing printing. I'm tempted to send all my scrap pages to her to do the journaling, it's that good. She obviously checked out my blog as everything she sent is something I'll use. My goodie package contained some Lemon Curd (goes wonderful with my Wolfermans Crumpets), Chocolate Minstrels (Mr. L loved these), Cupcake Magnets (they went immediately on my fridge), Heart Shaped Ice Cream Spoons (are these not the cutest things? I can't wait for summer and eating homemade ice cream using these), Pink Smarties (I've actually been holding off eating these until I can find a time to sneak them all to myself. Come on they're pink! And they're Smarties. I can't share.), three different kinds of Tabasco Sauce (the Chipolte one is really good and yes, I'm being very careful how I use the Habanero one!), a British Food cookbook (which I plan on cooking from soon, I have many items already book marked), a cute little Marks & Spencer lime green foldable pouch bag (she thought the lime green might be a bit "lurid" but she didn't know my scrap room is lime green and pink!), and the coolest Shark shaped opener (hard to see in this photo but it does this Shark fan proud). Not in the photo is the cute little Light Up Snowflake that went perfect with the Christmas season.
This was a wonderful box of goodies to receive during the hectic holiday season and I'm so glad I found J's cool blog to be inspired by (have you gone there like I told you too? It's here if you weren't paying attention earlier). Another great round of Blogging By Mail! Thanks to Have Fork Will Travel for sending me the package and Stephanie for getting this all together (and not sending the authorities after me for taking so long to put this up!).
Real nice Mrs. L. I like that opener. Went to the blog and English food does not look like it has changed that much. It all looks weird and bland. Same as when I lived there.

Mom - there are a ton of tasty looking recipes in the British Cookbook so I'm sure there are things you'll eat.
Chef Barbie - Wasn't there some great stuff in this BBM?
Noble - Oh yum, is it on your blog yet? (that's if I have any curd left, because lemon curd, spoon, gone in my house)

Cooool. I'm jealous! What are Chocolate Minstrels? I'm going to google it.
You're not a bad blogger, by the way.

Pink Smarties??? Oh man, I love Smarties. Plus, they have no fat. So, they must be good for you, right? Or am I being delusional? And am I spelling that word, right??
