PEEPS VS BUNNIES - Yes, it's getting close to Easter which means all those that have a Peep fascination will be able to get a fix. How stinking cute is this!? Not only did Quirky Cupcake make cupcakes using Peeps, she had them fight it out in a showdown! Her High Hat Cupcakes look yummy but her photographic evidence of said showdown between Peeps and Bunnies is hysterical. Go here to check it out.
PEEP JOUSTING - If that showdown wasn't enough for you how about some Peep Jousting. Yes, even Wikipedia lists Peep Jousting as putting a toothpick into each Peep, microwaving them and as the Peeps heat up, the toothpick "lance" thrusts forward thus deflating the "weak" Peep. Seriously, if your kid wouldn't scream in horror by watching his favorite peeps try to kill each other, maybe you too, can do some Peep Jousting of your own. To see an entire tournament played and which Peep became the "Ultimate Peep" go here. I'm thinking maybe the Peeps are no longer edible after they've had their jousting matches? Anyone want to eat one and let me know?
FROM WHERE? - Any idea where Peeps come from? Well, in all honesty, they are Just Born. No, really, the company that makes Peeps is the "Just Born" company. No, I'm not pulling your leg. Go here for more information (they also make Mike and Ikes and Hot Tamales!).
PEEP HAIKU - Yeah, some people really do have too much time on their hands. If you are looking to romance your loved one when you give him/her some Peeps this Easter, check out this page devoted to, yes, Peep Haiku.
Peeps are cool. Period! Great post!

Oh my gosh, this whole post is hilarious! I love the jousting and since we don't actually LIKE peeps, we might have to mutilate some in trying that out! Too funny!

peep jousting??? i love it! seems like peeps are more enjoyable to play with than to eat (i'm more of a jelly bean girl myself)(not the cheap, nasty jelly beans, mind you)(i require quality jelly beans).

Next time I found Peeps (here in Chile, not so easy to find) I'm so buying a few for some Peep Jousting! Great (and funny!) post, thanks.
