I agree with your sentiments. I think it is great when people try something a little different. Remember our little cooking group where we made dishes from a particular country? Maybe they weren't exactly the same, maybe our curry isn't as good as Indian curry, but it still tasted good. I think the real benefit was that it made me much more willing to try something different at ethnic restaurants.

I think this is a fun way to enjoy the Olympics.


We have a Russian Museum in Minneapolis that is wonderful. My only wish is that they had an attached restaurant although we have a few wonderful places in town. Moscow on the Hill in St. Paul is known for their homemade horseradish vodka best served with in-house pickled. Wow! Good stuff.
