Thanks for the nice shout out and glad to see I inspire you to get baking. Oh, and you should throw your scale out anyway. :)

Elle

I'd say you both got lucky in who you were partnered with. This is a great blog...I especially love your small bites. For the cookbook review, a sample recipe would be a nice addition. You also have a great sense of humor. I'll be back often.

Tartelette

You could not be paired with a nicer blogger! Happy you got to participate and I am looking to reading your blog!

Emiline

Pretty good lookin' blog here! You two DO have a lot in common.
Oh, I hate winter, too. I'm always freeeezing.

Melinda Pickworth

Just to say hello to you. I have been reading Peabody's blog only since October time. I agree with you that a notebook is needed to list all the goodies she has made... which look like things I would like to make!

Christy

I love your small plates! That picture of Rick Bayless made my evening. ;)

While I know the post was primarily about food, I'd like to focus on the hockey mention for a sec...

I laughed a little about her being a Flames fan, and you being ok with it b/c of Nolan. My friends and I kind of have a running joke about Calgary, how they are really the "Former Sharks Players Team in Canada". It's like when Sutter went to Calgary he just started piecing together a team of former SJS players. Primeau, Stuart, Smitty, Friesen, Nolan, Kipper.... Obviously it wasn't all Sutter's doing, but we find it really funny none the less. Maybe it's just us.

BTW, this is my first time to your blog, I'll be sure to keep checking it out.

Peabody - I think I'll just fudge with the scale so it never says I weigh over 130!

Elle - I usually do post a recipe right after doing the cookbook review. Check out some of the recent recipes.

Tartelette, Emiline, Melinda - Thanks so much for checking out my blog and giving me some support.

Christy - I so loved that photo, I couldn't wait to get it posted!

Miranda - A lot of us say the same thing about the Calgary Sharks :) Thats why it's so hard to root against them (except when they play us of course).

Wow! I read Peabody's blog about this--and you two are perfect for each other! :):) Love your blog!

Jan

Congrats Rene! I have loved reading your blog since day 1.
